Start / Stop Service
To start/stop water and/or sewer service to a property with an existing connection to Western, you will work with Western's Customer Service department.
Step 1: Confirm your property is within Western's service area.
Please review Western's Water Provider Map to confirm that your property is within Western's service area.
Step 2: Request new service.
Once you have confirmed your property is within Western's service area, complete Western's online Start/Stop Service Request form.
You can also contact Western's Customer Service department at 951.571.7104 for assistance. Please allow a minimum of two (2) business days for your request to be processed.
Note: When completing the online form, please do not include sensitive information such as your Social Security Number, bank account, credit card number, or information that would enable someone to access an online account, such as your username and password.
Step 3: Pay the processing fee and deposit.
A soft credit inquiry is part of Western's service application. This inquiry will not impact credit scores and is used to verify identity and determine if a deposit is required.
Western applies a one-time $10 processing fee to establish service. The fee will appear on your first billing statement and will be due and payable upon presentation.
If required to pay a deposit, Western must receive payment before the service start date. Western will refund deposit monies after 12 months of billing with no delinquent charges or payments returned by the bank.
A request for water service signifies your intention to comply with Western's water service rules and regulations.
To close an account, complete Western's online Start/Stop Service Request form.
You can also contact Western's Customer Service department at 951.571.7104 for assistance. Please allow a minimum of two (2) business days for your request to be processed.
